Everytime I get the house all neat and tidy, clean and feeling good, I bring another load of dusty boxes and bags of stuff from the old house and have to unpack all over again. Today was my dressy shoes, things I so seldom wear, and only own a few pairs of, but still take up a sizeable chunk of the closet shelf. Also another box of dishes and glasses and the great pitcher from the 60's. The dollhouse. The Brio train set. Books. Many, many books.
It's raining again. My brain feels flat and furry and slightly damp.
